Dr. Tina Oetke graduated with a degree in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2008, followed by additional training in emergency and internal medicine and surgery during a one-year internship at the Arizona Referral and Emergency Center of Arizona in Mesa.
Dr. Oetke was born and raised in Germany but has been calling Arizona home since 2008. She has practiced veterinary medicine in different areas of the Valley prior to joining the team at San Tan Animal Hospital in the summer of 2017. Dr. Oetke enjoys all aspects of small animal medicine with a special interest in soft tissue surgery and dentistry. She enjoys being part of the veterinary profession and being able to make a difference in the lives of both animals and their human families who care for them.
Dr. Oetke shares her home with her husband and young son, as well as three cats (Don Juan de Gato, Penguino, and Aiden) and one chinchilla (Dustin). She enjoys playing the violin, outdoor activities, travel, board games, and spending time with friends and family.
